Mary E. Bruno is the Assistant General Counsel for the firm and is a member of the Firm's Office Firm Counsel and works in the areas of risk management, handling employment, contract, ethics and compliance issues. Prior to joining the Office of Firm Counsel, Mary worked with the firm's Labor and Employment Law group focusing on advising and representing client companies and managers in all aspects of employment and labor law, including, defense of employment discrimination cases under federal, state, and/or local law, including; Title VII, Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, the Arizona Civil Rights Act, the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act, compliance issues under the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Davis Bacon Act; & the protection of proprietary information and the development of personnel policies, manuals, employment and separation agreements, as well as conducting training and investigations.
