Greenberg Traurig’s Kelly Dobbs Bunting to Present 2 Sessions at SHRM24

CHICAGO – June 14, 2024 – Kelly Dobbs Bunting, co-chair of the Workplace Compliance & Counseling Group of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Labor & Employment Practice, will present two sessions at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)’s 2024 conference June 23-26 in Chicago.

On June 24, Bunting will present “AI in HR Update: The Brave New World of Laws, Regs and Guidance For Employers.” Bunting will give a briefing on the existing new statutes, regulations, and directives concerning worker safeguards and the application of artificial intelligence in human resources (HR) software and activities, along with insights into anticipated developments.

On June 25, she will present “Religion at Work: How New Laws Have Led to Increased Accommodation Requests.” She will discuss the legal safeguards for workers who seek religious exemptions from company policies and procedures, as well as the key factors to consider when deciding to approve or deny such a request for accommodation.

Bunting is a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Philadelphia office. She litigates federal and state class and collective actions alleging wage and hour violations, misclassification, overtime, minimum wage, and off-the-clock work.
