PHILADELPHIA – April 17, 2023 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP White Collar Defense & Investigations Practice Shareholder Jessica Natali and Health Care & FDA Practice Of Counsel Andrew Tsui will co-present on health care enforcement and compliance at the 2023 Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) of Greater Philadelphia’s In-House Counsel Conference.
Natali and Tsui will co-present “Emerging Healthcare Enforcement & Regulatory Compliance Trends and Implications – Views from Former Agency Counsel, In-House Counsel and Outside Counsel” April 20. They will discuss navigating critical fraud and compliance issues based on their experience as former government attorneys and current in-house counsel.
Based in the firm’s Philadelphia office, Natali is a former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania with broad litigation experience in criminal and civil cases. She has an array of experience with corporations and individuals in federal and state criminal cases, complex white-collar defense matters, internal investigations, as well as civil litigation and investigations involving the defense of qui tam/False Claims Act complaints and products liability cases. She currently represents clients from a broad array of industries in criminal and civil matters including large medical device manufacturers, doctor practices, and individuals from pharmaceutical companies in investigations involving health care fraud, violations of HIPAA, Medicaid/Medicare billing fraud, violations of the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the False Claims Act, and complex civil litigation.
A member of the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, Tsui spent over a decade of his career litigating on behalf of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the General Counsel for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Division. He represents health care providers, suppliers, and laboratories in complex, government-facing investigations, appeals, and direct litigation, maintaining a practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and other federal courts. Tsui also provides regulatory and compliance counsel to health care and life sciences companies, Medicare Advantage plans, Accountable Care Organizations, and other downstream entities in the insurance markets, with an emphasis on medical device manufacturers that must pivot from FDA approval to payment and reimbursement.
