SACRAMENTO – August 13, 2021 – Alice L. Kessler, a shareholder of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has joined the local, non-profit board of directors for The CARES Foundation.
The CARES Foundation is a nonprofit that provides grants to organizations in the greater Sacramento area that serve the needs of people with HIV/AIDS, aid in the prevention of HIV/AIDS transmission, or raise social awareness to end discrimination and stigma. These grants may include funds for general support or for specific projects/programs, including those dedicated to HIV education and research.
Kessler, who is based in Greenberg Traurig’s Sacramento office, is co-leader of the California Government Law & Policy Group. Her practice focuses on helping clients navigate complex legislative, regulatory, and procurement issues and craft multi-faceted advocacy and legal strategies to further client objectives. Kessler leverages her well-honed skills to build consensus, gain buy-in, and motivate team members and partners.
