ATLANTA - Nov. 8, 2018 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP continues the strategic growth of its Corporate Practice with the addition of David R. Yates as a shareholder in the firm’s Atlanta office. Yates joins from Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP.
Yates’ practice focuses on international and domestic public and private mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, investments, joint ventures, and strategic transactions. He represents a broad range of publicly owned and privately held U.S. and foreign companies. Yates has been involved in a number of significant business transactions, including those involving cross-border complexities, and he regularly represents foreign clients in connection with U.S. acquisitions, as well as domestic companies in connection with their international expansion and divestitures.

Yates received his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, his MBA from the University of Alabama Manderson Graduate School of Business, and his B.A. from Yale University.
