ATLANTA – April 6, 2015 – Ernest Greer, vice president of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP and co-managing shareholder of the Atlanta office, has been named in Atlanta Tribune: The Magazine’s annual Men of the Year issue for 2015. Greer appears on the issue’s cover, released April 1, with his fellow honorees.
“Of the scores of nominations we receive each year for the Men of the Year designation, we look at the men who are proven leaders in their respective industries and who have made the most significant contributions -- politically, socially, civically, or in any other areas that impact the lives of people in our communities,” explains Katrice L. Greer currently serves on the board of the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, board of trustees for the Woodruff Arts Center, the board of directors for the Center for Civil & Human Right and is a member of the Rotary Club of Atlanta. He is a director for Buckhead Coalition and served as the first attorney chairman of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, currently serving on the Chamber’s Executive Committee. Awards and honors for 2015 include the 16th Annual Justice Robert Benham Award for Community Service, given by the State Bar of Georgia, and the Georgia Super Lawyers distinction for Super Lawyers magazine.
The Men of the Year will be honored at the annual Men of the Year Reception Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Philips Arena during the Atlanta Hawks game.
