Greenberg Traurig Supports the Sanctions and All Efforts the U.S. and Allies Have in Place as a Result of Russia’s Improper Invasion of Ukraine

GT supports the sanctions and all other efforts that the United States and allies have put in place as a result of Russia’s improper invasion of Ukraine. As such, we have put in place a process to seek to assure that our firm complies with all sanctions. Further, we have not accepted and are not doing any work for any person or entity subject to those or any other sanctions and have declined to accept work from others who we conclude may become subject to sanctions or who we know to be owned or controlled by the Russian government or anyone subject to sanctions. In addition, we and our lawyers and staff are fully committed to supporting humanitarian efforts on behalf of the Ukrainian people and have committed $2 million towards this cause thus far. Our Warsaw office is particularly strong in its commitment and, among many other things, is housing approximately 150 refugees in the homes of its lawyers and staff.
