Bitkom Legal Forum 2025

Bitkom, a digital association and Europe's largest think tank for digital topics, is hosting the Bitkom Forum Recht 2025 in Berlin on April 29 and 30, 2025. The forum will discuss how companies can successfully position themselves in an increasingly regulated environment – against the backdrop of new political decisions in Germany and the EU, as well as growing global competitive challenges. In addition to specific questions regarding the AI Act, NIS2, DSGVO and Data Act, the topics of competitiveness and compliance are the focus of the event, in line with the title. Viola Bensinger, shareholder and head of the Berlin technology team, will give a presentation on “The EU Data Act and Cloud Services: New Rules for Companies”. The presentation will address the practical implications for companies, particularly with regard to cloud services, data portability and contract design.
