PLI’s 19th Annual Institute on Privacy and Data Security Law (Chicago)

The 19th Annual Institute on Privacy and Data Security Law will focus on the current critical issues of information privacy, cybersecurity and data protection faced by all companies. GT’s Francoise Gilbert (SV) will Chair the conference and speak on the panel “Compliance with the GDPR.” Her talk will focus on the new GDPR laws taking effect in May. GT’s Ian Ballon (LA/SV) is also participating in the conference, speaking on the panel, “Mitigating All Risks: Lessons Learned from a Litigator’s Perspective,” which will discuss managing a breach to avoid litigation, avoiding becoming a class action target, and practices that may lead an organization into trouble.
