Callie White is a member of the Real Estate Practice and focuses her practice in the hospitality industry, advising clients in connection with acquisition, disposition, development of hotel projects, hotel management and operations, franchising, licensing and branding, restaurant management agreements, lease negotiations, and casino agreements. In addition, she has significant experience representing purchasers, sellers and institutional lenders in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions and assets types, including condominium regimes, mixed-use projects, multifamily and affordable housing developments, hospitals and medical facilities and portfolio transactions.

She regularly prepares and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, financing and development agreements, and other documents related to the acquisition, financing, development, leasing, management, and disposition of real and personal property, and counsels clients on a variety of legal issues, including land use and entitlements, mechanics lien claims, construction defects, joint venture and special purpose entity matters, PACE finance, due diligence, and contractual disputes regarding ownership and operations.

  • Represented purchaser in the acquisition of a first-class office tower and the garage, retail and development units within an adjacent mixed-use condominium regime in Dallas, Texas.°
  • Represented purchaser in the acquisition of the Ace Hotel & Swim Club and underlying ground leasehold interest in Palm Springs, California.°
  • Represented developer in the acquisition of the hotel unit within a mixed-use condominium regime and construction of a 300-key JW Marriott hotel and conference center in Dallas, Texas.°
  • Represented developer in the acquisition of a hotel unit within a condominium regime and construction of a 300+-key Hyatt Regency hotel and conference center in Frisco, Texas.°
  • Represented developer in the acquisition of a 113-unit residential condominium regime in Travis County, Texas and construction of condominium units as part of a residential build-to-rent program.°
  • Represented developer in obtaining credit facility to finance acquisition and development of affordable housing developments across the United States.°
  • Represented institutional lender in making multiple construction loans for the development of an industrial projects in Southern California.°
  • Represented lender in making a construction loan for the development of multifamily property in Albuquerque, New Mexico.°
