Claudia Stremel focuses her practice on national and international tax law. Since 2003 she is admitted as a specialist lawyer for tax law (Fachanwalt für Steuerrecht). Claudia has been working as a lawyer in the tax group for more than 18 years. She advises domestic and international clients, especially from the real estate and media industry. She has particular focus on tax aspects in connection with cross border real estate transactions and financing. In this context she particularly advises on structuring and exit scenarios and their contractual implementation in close cooperation with colleagues from the real estate and corporate group. She is very skilled on real estate transfer tax and VAT and has a longstanding experience in advising on structured asset finance, in particular film and project financing and related tax questions.
Claudia has been actively engaged in Corporate Responsibility and pro bono advice for several years.
Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Claudia worked at Linklaters for over 10 years and at Olswang for seven years.
