NEW YORK – Nov. 26, 2024 – Farah S. Ahmed, a shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Real Estate Practice, has been named one of ConnectCRE’s 2024 Women in Real Estate Award winners for the New York and Tri-State region.
According to ConnectCRE, the award recognizes the achievements and inspirational stories of women real estate professionals who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
Based in Greenberg Traurig’s New York office, Farah focuses her practice on complex real estate and real estate finance transactions. She has a broad range of local, national, and cross-border experience representing investors, operators, lenders, and developers in the acquisition, disposition, development, and financing of various classes of commercial real estate, including office, hospitality, retail, health care, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use properties.
Beyond Greenberg Traurig, Farah has volunteered for Xavier Mission’s Welcome Table soup kitchen and is a long-time advisory board member for New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.
