Greenberg Traurig Shortlisted for The Lawyer Awards 2023

LONDON – 3 May 2023 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s London office is shortlisted for two The Lawyer Awards 2023. The firm was shortlisted for Litigation team of the year and Restructuring team of the year.

Greenberg Traurig’s Litigation Practice is recognised for their representation of a national pension agency, assisting in the recovery of over €115 million of pension savers’ savings following their misappropriation. The case is ongoing, but the firm’s team has already obtained judgment for US$35 million. The team also set a precedent regarding conducting hybrid hearings.

The firm’s Restructuring & Insolvency Practice is recognised for its work on cross-border restructuring and demonstrating how the English Law Restructuring Plan gives flexibility to foreign debtors to use this new English procedure to restructure their debts in a manner that may not be available in their jurisdiction of incorporation.

The European Restructuring team is well-placed with more than 25 lawyers who focus on complex cross-border or domestic restructuring matters across Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, and the UK.
