Berlin, August 5, 2019 – Greenberg Traurig has advised EDGE Technologies (EDGE) on the sale of the EDGE HafenCity project development in Hamburg by way of a forward deal to Allianz Real Estate. The parties have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
EDGE consistently relies on innovative technologies to develop and operate ecologically sustainable buildings with a high quality of use. The project development in the so called Elbbrückenquartier of the HafenCity is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2021. The 15-story smart office building with a total lettable area of approximately 22,500 square meters will combine a restaurant and café with office space including co-working areas and flexible offices. The 4th, 5th and 6th floors will each have a terrace and the extensive roof greenery will be accessible for users of the building.
