NYU's 16th Annual Tax Controversy Forum

Greenberg Traurig is a sponsor the NYU’s 16th Annual Tax Controversy Forum on June 27-28 taking place at The Westin New York at Times Square.

Greenberg Traurig New York Shareholder Sharon Katz-Pearlman will moderate a panel on Thursday, June 27 at 8:45 a.m. The session, “What’s Next for the IRS? An Update from Senior IRS Executives,” will focus on plans for the future, hiring trends, and other critical areas.

Greenberg Traurig Tax Practice Chair Barbara Kaplan will be a panelist for a session on Friday, June 28 at 3:50 p.m. The panel, “Preparing for Increased Cryptocurrency Regulation and Enforcement in Uncertain Times,” will address the latest issues involving cryptocurrency and highlight important concerns for tax experts.

The NYU School of Professional Studies has brought together government representatives and expert private practitioners to share their varying perspectives for 16 years. The forum covers a wide selection of topics and provides an opportunity to network with other legal specialists in tax.
