C-PACE: 2024 Primer and Update

This practical legal presentation provided an overview of the fundamental concepts, roles, issues and potential benefits when using Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) financing for real estate projects. The emerging financing tool showed exponential growth as an alternative financing solution over the last decade, including during uncertain economic times and is geared to continue to be a vital piece of the capital stack for future commercial real estate investments, particularly as more attention is paid to energy-efficient and sustainable development. They examined the C-PACE financing process, the key players, the legal considerations for negotiating and executing such deals, and the potential for C-PACE financing today and beyond.
