On Wednesday, May 10 from 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. EST, Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Ian C. Ballon, Co-Chair of the Global Intellectual Property & Technology Group, will present the session, “CPRA/Security Breach Class Action Litigation - How Mitigate the Risks and Win or Favorably Settle Claims." The session will discuss regulatory enforcement of the CPRA by the new California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA) and what CPPA litigation over the CPRA may look like for companies. On Friday, May 12 from 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Kevin M. Scott will be a panelist during the session, "Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My! What to do in a Data Breach." The session will discuss how the right tools (i.e. cyber insurance, forensics, and legal counsel) can make data breaches less stressful and reduce risks and costs.
