Tyrone A. Adras is a litigator experienced in the areas of complex commercial litigation, financial services litigation, equine litigation, products liability, and wrongful death. Tyrone regularly defends class and individual matters involving checks, wires, electronic funds transfers, the Uniform Commercial Code, negotiable instruments, consumer credit cards, and loan participations in both federal court and in arbitration. Tyrone also has wide-ranging experience representing financial institutions and other institutional lenders and servicers in commercial litigation proceedings, and residential and commercial foreclosure matters, including those involving mortgage-backed securities. In addition, Tyrone’s practice involves representing clients in lender-liability and consumer finance litigation involving various claims such as breach of contract, fraud, and breach of fiduciary duty, as well as claims brought under various federal and state statutes, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, the various regulations promulgated by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act.

Tyrone has wide-ranging experience in litigation of products liability matters at both the state and federal levels. He has litigated multiple cases pertaining to a wide variety of products, ranging from the automotive industry to the realm of medical products and pharmaceuticals. He has participated in virtually all levels of products litigation, ranging from large discovery proceedings to lengthy trial proceedings. Tyrone also has deep experience in equine litigation matters including buyer seller disputes in which Tyrone has represented either the buyer or seller.
