MUNICH – Mar. 7, 2025 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig advised HR Group on its acquisition of H-Hotels, including more than 60 hotels in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, and Hungary.

The acquisition of H-Hotels, one of Germany’s largest privately held hotel companies, adds approximately one-third to HR Group’s portfolio and strengthens its position as the leading multi-brand hotel operator in Europe. The acquired brands include Hyperion Hotels, H4 Hotels, H2 Hotels, H+ Hotels, H.ostels and H.omes.

HR Group is a Berlin-based company that has been acquiring, developing, and operating hotels and resorts for more than 15 years.

The Greenberg Traurig team advised HR Group on all legal aspects of the acquisition, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating the transaction documentation, and financing documentation. In addition, Greenberg Traurig coordinated with local counsel to ensure a smooth cross-border execution.

Background:
