Greenberg Traurig Attorneys to Speak at ACIC World’s Fair 2024

BOSTON – Oct. 15, 2024 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Eric W. Larson, David J. LaSota, and Oscar Stephens will speak at the 2024 American College of Investment Counsel (ACIC) World’s Fair, to be held Oct. 24-25 in Boston. Julia J. Singh also will act as co-chair of the event, which is a place where colleagues can come together to share their collective knowledge and network, according to the organization.

Larson will moderate “A Showcase in Securing the Future: Global Innovations in Combatting Wire Fraud,” Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. This cross-disciplinary panel will discuss data privacy, including with wire fraud tactics, examples of cybersecurity deceptive tactics, and ways to avoid or address them.

LaSota will speak on “The Great (Rental) Space Race: CTLs, Data Centers, and Similar Structures,” Oct. 24 at 4:30 p.m. Panelists will discuss credit tenant leases (CTLs), including industry requirements and developments. The panel also will address CTL-like deals involving data centers, other similar structures, and general sale-leaseback issues.

Stephens will speak on “Market Focus: Latin America,” Oct. 25 at 9 a.m. The panel will discuss information for investors in Latin American deals, including political, legal, and regulatory issues, as well as issues investors may face, including security packages and jurisdictional issues.
