Greenberg Traurig Hosts Miami Tech and Data Symposium: Navigating New Legal Risks in Data and Emerging Technologies

MIAMI – Sept. 11, 2023 – Attorneys from global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. will identify and discuss the latest risks in data and emerging technologies facing companies of all sizes at the firm’s symposium, “Navigating New Legal Risks in Data and Emerging Technologies.”

The seminar, which will be held at the firm’s Miami office on Sept. 14. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET, is hosted by attorneys from the firm’s Data Privacy and Cybersecurity and Technology, Media & Telecommunications practices. Offered for CLE credit, the seminar will include practical guidance on cutting-edge issues to help in-house counsel reduce risk and prepare for potential challenges in the wake of new legislation and regulations.

  • 12:30 p.m. – Modern Contract Drafting and Negotiating Process: Streamlining Deals from Start to Finish: Sutin will moderate a conversation with in-house legal counsel to discuss best practices for streamlining contract drafting and negotiations.

  • 3:40 p.m. –Demystifying AdTech: How to Stay Compliant with Ever Changing Privacy Laws and Technology Limitations: David Zetoony, co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s U.S. Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice, will dive into modern state privacy laws, implications for CRM-based technologies and related trends.
