ATLANTA – Aug. 22, 2023 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP added Trenton A. Ward to its Atlanta office as a shareholder in the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice. Ward, who served for five years as an administrative patent judge at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, joins Greenberg Traurig from the Atlanta office of intellectual property firm Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP.
Ward, who has over 20 years of experience in patent law, adjudicated more than 250 America Invents Act (AIA) trial proceedings as a patent judge and advocated in over 50 AIA trials since leaving the bench. His practice comprises complex patent litigation, prosecution, and counselling across various technologies, including mobile communication devices, medical devices, semiconductor devices, consumer goods, and sporting equipment.
