SAN FRANCISCO – Oct. 10, 2022 –Philip I. Person, shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s San Francisco Labor & Employment Practice, spoke at the 2022 Wage & Hour Litigation Conference hosted by Bridgeport Oct. 7.
Panelists discussed several topics, including the Private Attorneys General Act after the Viking River case, case selection and evaluation, rules and approaches to mediate and settle cases, and how to make sure settlements stick. Person spoke on a panel titled “Using Experts in Wage & Hour Cases: Understanding Costs, Expectations and the Role of Experts.”
Person focuses his practice on representing employers in wage and hour, wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, trade secret misappropriation, non-competition, non-solicitation, and whistleblower claims. He is an experienced litigator, having defended employers against single-plaintiff and class action litigation in both federal and state courts. Person also represents employers in labor and employment arbitrations.
