BOSTON – Sept. 15, 2022 – Edward H. Kammerer, a shareholder in the Boston and New York offices of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will present on the panel titled “Getting Transactions Done: A Hard Day’s Night,” Sept. 15 at the 11th JETNET iQ Global Business Aviation Summit in New York.
Kammerer will participate in a panel discussion with other business aviation professionals addressing the obstacles to getting private aircraft transactions done. He will focus his remarks on the unique challenges facing first-time and repeat buyers in an ever-changing economic environment.
A shareholder in the firm’s Business Aviation Practice, Kammerer advises the business aviation community on a wide range of transactions and issues, with a focus on aircraft acquisitions and finance. With 40 years of experience, he represents major corporations, mid-sized companies, family offices, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and business owners, helping them to acquire, operate, finance, and sell private aircrafts. Kammerer previously served as in-house counsel for three leading equipment finance companies, including affiliates of two major banks and one leading insurance company. He had responsibility for the development of standard form financing documents and approved documentation of inbound and outbound syndicated secured financings. Kammerer is admitted in New York, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
