FORT LAUDERDALE and TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Aug. 13, 2015 – Fred E. Karlinsky, shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale and Tallahassee offices of international law firm Greenberg Traurig P.A., spoke at the Louisiana Insurers’ Conference (LIC) titled “Compliance Connections: Insurance Compliance Seminar and Legislative Review,” held Aug. 5-7 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Karlinsky, a frequent speaker on insurance-related trends and legislative initiatives for LIC and other insurance industry groups, presented “Social Marketing and Liability” discussing the use of social marketing tools and the liabilities associated with these tools for producers and insurance companies. The annual conference given by the Louisiana Department of Insurance offers the latest information on compliance for insurance producers and legal professionals.
Karlinsky is Co-Chair of Greenberg Traurig's Insurance Regulatory and Transactions Practice Group and a shareholder within the Government Law & Policy Group. He represents insurers, reinsurers, producers and other insurance interests throughout the U.S. and internationally in a wide variety of business, operational, regulatory, transactional and governmental matters.
