ATLANTA (Oct. 9, 2014) — The Global Litigation Practice at the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP was recognized in five areas in the 2015 Litigation Outlook Report, issued by The BTI Consulting Group Inc. Greenberg Traurig was one of six firms listed as an Awesome Opponent on the list of “Most Feared Firms,” which indicates those firms that general counsel and in-house litigation heads consider the most formidable opposition. The firm was one of only nine who received the Standout distinction in the Commercial Litigation category, while the Product Liability group was one of 11 Standouts. The Intellectual Property & Technology Litigation and Labor & Employment Litigation practices were Honor Roll recipients. This follows on the firm’s recent recognition among the “Power Elite” in the 2014 BTI Client Relationship Scorecard report, which assesses the nature and strength of law firms' client relationships.
The Litigation Outlook Report is compiled and released each year. According to BTI Consulting, the 2015 reports draws on more than 4,000 interviews with legal decision makers conducted over the span of 14 years and is based on extensive research in a multitude of areas including firm growth, client satisfaction, representative matters and industry confidence, and listed firms are “best suited to help” in the practice areas for which they are recognized.
“It is a privilege to be recognized among the high caliber of firms that are included in this report,” said Alan Mansfield, Co-Chair of the Global Litigation Practice in the New York office. “Our Litigation Group is proud to provide unsurpassed service to a diverse client base, and the BTI distinction reinforces our accomplishments.”
Philip R. Sellinger, Co-Chair of the Global Litigation Practice and Co-Managing Shareholder in the firm’s New Jersey office, said, “ We are gratified that our attorneys have earned industry-wide recognition and that their hard work throughout the year is recognized by our clients in companies across the country. The firm receives many honors, but the rankings issued by BTI are especially meaningful due to the complex, comprehensive research that goes into compiling these results.”
