Christopher White focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and internal investigations. His experience spans a wide range of industries, including aerospace and defense, utilities, chemical manufacturers, and financial services Chris has involvement in each phase of litigation, including resolving matters pre-suit, drafting complex briefs and motions, participating in all aspects of fact and expert discovery, and trial preparation. He has experience participating in cases in state and federal courts as well as alternative dispute resolution. Chris also has experience with class actions and appeals, including drafting appellate briefing in Florida appellate courts and the U.S. District Court of Appeals.

- Recently achieved an $88 million federal trial victory for an international exporter.
- Representation of an international exporter in Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals matter regarding arbitration.
- Currently representing an international aerospace company in six high-profile toxic-tort actions including a putative class action in which Plaintiffs allege that emissions from a manufacturing facility contaminated nearby properties and injured persons who lived or worked nearby. Plaintiffs seek injunctive relief, medical monitoring, and monetary damages. Following Daubert motions and expert depositions, Plaintiffs voluntarily dismissed the class action with prejudice. GT continues to represent the client in the remaining mass tort and individual wrongful death actions.
- Currently representing European financial industry executive in a cross-border conspiracy and tax fraud investigation.
- Representation of a commercial property owner regarding contamination claims of trichloroethylene and perchloroethylene.
- Obtained a dismissal of claims with prejudice against a U.K.-based foreign exchange trading house and U.S.-based principal in an action brought by a receiver to recover funds in an $80 million Ponzi scheme.
- Representation of a private water utility regarding a Florida Department of Environmental Protection investigation. To assist with the investigation, GT undertook detailed client interviews to determine the scope of the issue as well as engaged in a review of the relevant documents.
- Representation of Pluris Wedgefield in the class action Kohl et al. v Pluris Wedgefield, LLC et al. The plaintiffs allege the potable water supply of the Wedgefield residential housing community was contaminated with disinfectant byproducts including, trihalomethanes (“TTHM”), total haloacetic acids (“HAA5”), and chlorite. GT was able to reach a negotiated settlement that successfully ended costly and time-consuming litigation in which Pluris Wedgefield denied the plaintiffs’ allegations.
- Representing international manufacturer in an action involving the misappropriation of trade secrets and related misconduct by former employees and a competing company. Supporting this matter by drafting motions and pleadings.
- Representation of Mosaic Fertilizer in a mass tort with over 115 Plaintiffs. The Plaintiffs are commercial fishermen alleging that a chemical release during Hurricane Frances caused them economic damages and reputational harm. Anderson, et al. v. Mosaic Fertilizer is a follow-on case that was filed after decertification of the putative class in Curd et al. v. Mosaic Fertilizer. After the District Court dismissed Plaintiffs’ Complaint with prejudice, GT negotiated a settlement that resolved all claims with no monetary contribution from GT’s client and resolved 16 years of litigation.
- Represented nationwide clients in major antitrust cases.°
- Represented major manufacturers in MDL product liability actions resulting in favorable settlement of large numbers of cases.°
- Represented international private equity firms in the acquisition of numerous companies both domestically and abroad.°
- Represented CEO, CFO, and other c-suite executives of public traded companies in major SEC investigations.°
