Corey Tessler, Co-Chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Real Estate Finance Group, is a commercial real estate lawyer focusing on complex finance transactions. He works with lending institutions to create tailored mortgage conduit/securitization programs with respect to hotel, retail, office, and multifamily properties. Corey regularly advises on construction lending, mezzanine financing, the structuring of preferred equity transactions, and fee and leasehold financing, as well as the refinancing of office buildings, shopping centers, and multifamily projects. In addition, he assists lenders in the workout restructuring of defaulted loan facilities.
