Christine M. Steenman focuses her practice on complex financing transactions, with a specific focus on project finance (including renewable and infrastructure financings), export credit agency (ECA) and multilateral supported finance and large asset finance. She has deep experience in representing lenders and borrowers in both domestic and international financing transactions. She also regularly advises corporate trustees and agents in their roles across both debt capital markets transactions and banking transactions (including on project finance and leveraged finance transactions).

- Represented the Sponsor in the financing of two open loop biomass to energy facilities in North Carolina, including a Tax Equity Bridge Loan project-level project financing.
- Represented Clēnera in the construction loan facility for the 105 MW Apex Solar project in Montana.
- Represented the commercial lender in a bridge loan to a Mexican state-owned power company as part of an electrical grid modernization plan.
- Represented the administrative agent, collateral agent and depositary in bridge loan and subsequent refinancing to a construction to term loan for a 204 MW solar project in Texas.
- Represented the first lien collateral agent and depositary in connection with a financing for 17 battery energy storage systems located throughout Texas.
- Represented the arranger in the issuance of Belize’s “Blue Bond,” insured by DFC.°
- Represented the lenders in a MIGA guaranteed facility to a South American state-owned bank.°
- Represented the arranger and lenders in a U.S. ExIm Bank guaranteed facility to an African state-owned entity, benefiting from a MoF guarantee.°
- Represented the arranger and lenders in separate Finnvera and EKN guaranteed facilities to a U.S. public telecommunications company.°
- Represented the lenders in a Finnvera guaranteed facility, alongside IFC and IDB facilities, to a Brazilian pulp manufacturer.°
- Represented the lenders in a Finnvera guaranteed facility to a Chilean pulp manufacturer.°
- Represented the lenders (including EDC) in a facility to a U.S. public telecommunications company.°
- Represented the lenders in a CESCE covered facility to a Peruvian state-owned refiner.°
- Represented the lenders in separate EKN, Finnvera, D/D and K-sure covered facilities to a U.S. public telecommunications company.°
- Represented the lender in a U.S. ExIm Bank guaranteed facility to an Argentine state-owned energy company.°
- Represented the coordinating agent, term facility agent, security agent, and depositary bank in connection with facilities (including a SACE guaranteed facility) to a U.S. steel company.°
- Represented the administrative agent in connection with a construction facility, bridge facility, revolving facility and L/C facility to be used a solar generation and battery storage project in California.°
- Represented the facility agent, collateral agent and account bank in connection with a facility to a U.S. based producer of satellite systems and equipment.°
- Represented the administrative agent, collateral agent and account bank in connection with a construction bridge facility to be used in connection with a solar generating and battery storage facility in New Mexico.°
- Represented the intercreditor agent in a multi-tranche facility (involving both commercial bank facilities and ECA/multilateral facilities) to be used in connection with the construction of a solar generating facility in Mexico.°
- Represented the offshore collateral agent, offshore account bank, onshore collateral agent and onshore account bank in connection with an IDB led facility to be used in connection with the construction of multiple solar generating facilities in Brazil.°
- Represented the administrative agent on a term loan facility and a development loan facility and joint collateral agent in connection with the financing of multiple solar projects across California and Texas.°
