Regina A. Pearson counsels clients on project development, throughout the entire lifecycle of a project with a focus on the engineering, construction and operational strategies and agreements. Her experience includes counseling clients in the planning, development, and management of large construction projects. Regina has deep experience advising on energy projects, including renewable and transition energy projects. Her past experience includes liquefied natural gas (LNG), power, petrochemical, hydrogen, and carbon capture and sequestration projects, among others.

Regina has advised on projects exceeding $50 billion in value spanning the globe. She has worked on projects based in North America, South America, Africa and Australia and represented or been adverse to parties in North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Immediately prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Regina served as a co-chair of the infrastructure team, co-lead of the energy asset class and a leader of the energy transactions team at her prior law firm.

Her in-house role included drafting, revising, and negotiating agreements for energy and processing facilities as well as forming joint venture and consortium agreements on LNG, urea, and methanol facilities. As part of this role, she also reviewed and analyzed the impact of federal regulations on her client’s projects. Additionally, she served as the lead compliance officer and contact for the company’s North, Central, and South America Region.

In past roles, Regina litigated matters on behalf of her clients, including those related to regulatory matters, commercial torts, minority business certifications and small business certifications.
