  • Advising an oil & gas super-major in connection with criminal investigations conducted by the authorities of five separate countries over allegations of corruption of public officials in Nigeria. The team secured the company a definitive full acquittal judgement and the rejection of a confiscation and damages claim for US 1,3 billion.°
  • Assisting a leading global technology company in the context of a multi-jurisdictional investigation on alleged corruption of public officials in South Africa. The team advised the client on the adequacy of its compliance program in place at the time of the alleged wrongdoings, carried out a risk assessment and assisted the company in reviewing its compliance policies and adapting them to Italian legal requirements and best practices.°
