Chloe Mickel focuses her practice in construction law. For over a decade, she has counseled construction professionals on a variety of projects, including multifamily developments, data centers, manufacturing facilities, and hotels. A shrewd negotiator, Chloe frequently relies on her educational background in psychology and counseling with the goal of avoiding formal proceedings.
Chloe’s practice at GT involves drafting and negotiating industry forms, including AIA, and creating custom contracts to suit her clients’ business needs. She has negotiated hundreds of contracts ranging in type from design and construction to project management and EPC. Chloe has robust experience working with data center developers and operators, which has allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the unique legal needs of that industry. For the first five years of her legal career, Chloe litigated all manner of construction-related disputes, including delays, construction defects, design errors and omissions, and project closeout. Her experience handling disputes significantly informs her transactional practice.
