Nazmul Miah is an associate in the Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice based in London and provides counsel to a diverse group of stakeholders in relation to formal insolvency processes, including secured lenders, insolvency practitioners, private equity funds, corporates, directors and creditors on both contentious and non-contentious issues. He has also advised lenders in respect of the validity, enhancement and enforcement of their security, as well as alternative debt restructuring options including in relation to the Part 26A Restructuring Plan.
More recently, Nazmul’s practice has concentrated on transactional and advisory matters with a focus on business turnaround and creative workout solutions.
Nazmul also has an interest in digital assets, including cryptocurrency and its relationship with UK insolvency law, having previously assisted in producing comment for blockchain publications in relation to the crypto winter and the subsequent fall-out.

- Acted for Harland & Wolff and its administrators on a pre-packaged administration sale of its business and certain assets to Navantia UK Ltd – a deal which saw over 1000 jobs being saved and the preservation of the historic Harland & Wolff name.
- Acted for the administrators of RoyaleLife a mobile home holiday park company operating several sites across England on a pre-packaged administration sale to a secured creditor saving over 100 jobs.
- Acted for Blackstone and QTS on the acquisition of an insolvent EV battery site in Northumberland for the development of a landmark hyperscale data center from fixed charge receivers.
- Acted for the administrators of Selina Hospitality PLC on the sale of its shares of its various subsidiaries across Latin America and Asia.
- Advised an SME on the efficacy and implementation of a Part 26A Restructuring Plan.°
- Acted for the administrators in relation to the sale of the business and assets of an organic foods supermarket chain out of a pre-packaged administration, resulting in the rescue of circa 200 jobs.°
- Acted for the administrators in relation to the sale of the business and assets of a pan-European removals company out of a pre-packaged administration, resulting in the rescue of circa 200 jobs.°
