Patrick Lilly has broad experience across a wide variety of corporate finance transactions, including advising on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, takeovers, joint ventures, and general corporate matters. He has particular experience in equity capital markets transactions and was seconded to the legal team of Numis Securities, a leading London investment bank. Patrick has worked on transactions in various sectors, including financial services, real estate, and natural resources.

- Represented APi Group in its acquisition of the fire and safety solutions business of Chubb, owned by Carrier Corporation.
- Represented SBA Telecommunications in a joint venture with Paradigm Infrastructure Limited to acquire and operate a portfolio of approximately 1,400 mobile communication towers in Tanzania from Airtel Tanzania, a subsidiary of LSE-listed Airtel Africa.
- Represented Jadestone Energy Inc. on its US$110m institutional placing and admission to trading to AIM in connection with its acquisition of the offshore Australian oil and gas assets of PTTEP.°
- Represented Numis Securities as nominated adviser in connection with the proposed acquisition by AIM-listed Chaarat Gold Holdings Limited of Kapan Mining and Processing Company CJSC.°
- Represented Numis Securities as financial adviser in relation to the admission to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange of potash mining company Danakali Limited.°
- Represented Nan Fung UK, part of the diversified Hong Kong property and infrastructure group Nan Fung, on its acquisition of the mixed-use Regent Quarter estate in King’s Cross, London.°
- Represented Tristan Capital Partners, an independent real estate investment manager, on its acquisition of a 90 percent interest in a UK student housing portfolio.°
- Represented Numis Securities and Hannam & Partners on an institutional placing by AIM and TSX-listed Avesoro Resources in connection with its US$69.5m acquisition of two gold mines in Burkina Faso.°
- Represented Hadrian’s Wall Secured Investments Limited, a Guernsey-incorporated specialist SME lending fund, on its Main Market IPO and subsequent C-share fundraising.°
- Represented Macquarie Capital and Cenkos Securities as joint brokers to AIM-listed oil and gas company Hurricane Energy on a £52m institutional placing.°
- Represented Canaccord Genuity and Shore Capital as joint brokers to AIM-listed pharmaceutical company Vernalis on a £40m institutional placing.°
- Represented Tangent Holdings UK Limited on its takeover of AIM-listed Tangent Communications plc.°
- Represented Thames Water Utilities on the sale of its non-household London water retail business to Castle Water.°
- Represented Quintain Estates and Development, the Main Market-listed property developer, on the recommended £750m cash takeover offer by Lone Star.°
