Syed M. Q. Ali Khan represents employers in employment law and labor relations, including single-plaintiff lawsuits, representative actions, and enforcement actions, covering a wide gamut of substantive law: wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, harassment, and employee mobility and trade secrets. He also regularly assists clients with representation case hearings before the National Labor Relations Board.

Syed has counseled companies large and small on worker classification issues, including those related to the ABC test. His academic research on worker classification has been published in the Hastings Business Law Journal.

In addition to his domestic practice, Syed advises on international employment matters, including global expansion and compliance efforts for both large companies and startups.
