Bob Gang has practiced law for over 50 years, almost all of which have been devoted to the field of public finance. He served as Co-Chair of the National Public Finance Practice for 10 years. Bob has also represented Florida public school districts and community development districts for over 37 years.

Experience

  • Serves primarily as bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriters counsel in all types of public finance transactions within the state of Florida and in other states.
  • Serves as bond counsel for numerous Florida school districts, including five of the six largest districts in Florida, for lease purchase financing, general obligation and sales tax revenue bonds.
  • Represents school districts in referenda for operating levies and capital outlay financings.
  • Represents not-for-profit private schools, charter schools and universities in structuring capital programs.
  • Represents special taxing districts, community development districts, improvement districts and educational facilities benefit districts in financing public infrastructure.
  • Has robust experience in urban infill redevelopment projects utilizing tax increment combined with special assessments.
  • Has deep experience in sports infrastructure financing.
  • Represents banks in private placement loans to special districts and universities, colleges and other not-for-profit or governmental entities.
  • Has wide-ranging experience in utility financing, both as bond counsel and underwriters or disclosure counsel, for governmental and private utility systems.
