Frederick B. Galt provides legal counsel to clients in the health care space, with a focus on strategic planning, risk mitigation, cybersecurity, corporate governance, vendor and provider contracting, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, he served as executive vice president of network and corporate administration and general counsel of Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan, Inc., a physician-governed, not-for-profit health benefit services organization serving approximately 350,000 individuals. In this role, he was one of the leads for the development and implementation of corporate strategy and directed the company’s legal, provider contracting, strategic sourcing, cybersecurity, corporate compliance, Medicare compliance, internal audit, enterprise risk, and fraud investigation functions. He has deep experience providing legal counsel on human resources, real estate, taxation, ERISA and benefits, finance, corporate law, HIPAA, privacy, and security.
