Ben Fechter is a member of the Litigation Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office. Having previously served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Broward State Attorney’s Office, as well as a civil litigator for a large, regional firm, Ben represents individuals and businesses of all sizes in various business torts and breach of contract disputes at the federal, state, and local levels. With more than 1,000 hours in a courtroom, Ben has deep experience as both a commercial litigator and criminal prosecutor, and has sat first-chair for more than a dozen jury trials.
Ben’s practice encompasses a wide range of legal matters, including real estate developments, fraudulent transfers in bankruptcy court, public record disclosures, legal malpractice claims, contract breaches, and probate litigation. He has experience arguing for clients in court, participating in mediations and depositions, drafting legal documents, and overseeing all aspects of discovery, including document review and production, legal research, and analysis.
