Kathryn C. Cole represents large and small businesses, financial institutions, and individuals in virtually all aspects of federal and state court commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation, and before federal agencies and regulatory bodies. In addition to advising on electronic data and cyber-related issues, Katy has considerable experience in all areas of complex litigation including contract claims, product liability claims, tort claims, consumer class-action claims and securities class-action claims.

  • Defended major pharmaceutical company in class actions throughout the country, including dismissals of product liability and consumer fraud claims.°
  • Defended company and general counsel in connection with investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to the granting of stock options.°
  • Obtained the dismissal of personal injury claims against a member of the National Hockey League relating to alleged exposure to toxic substances.°
  • Resolved bitter multimillion-dollar dispute among co-owners of closely held business entities.°
  • Represented company in connection with workplace misconduct matters, including highly sensitive investigations.°
  • Argued multiple appeals in the Second Circuit and Second Department Appellate Division.°
  • Member of team that represented utility company in connection with mass tort.°
