Simon Chen is a foreign associate in Greenberg Traurig Tokyo Law Offices. He is a member of both the corporate and real estate practices of the firm. As a corporate lawyer, Simon routinely advises clients in a wide range of industries and transactions including complex cross border ventures across multiple markets in Asia as well as in North America, utilizing his trilingual skills in Japanese, English and Chinese. As an active member of the firm’s real estate practice in Asia, Simon advises international private equity funds, asset managers, financial institutions and other investors on cross border inbound investments into various Asia markets, including purchase and sales, leasing, joint ventures and financings. He also assists Asia-based investors in outbound real estate investments into markets such as the United States, utilizing his skills and knowledge as a U.S.-trained attorney.

Simon’s experience also includes advising client in navigating foreign investment and trade laws and regimes .
