Blanca Alcaraz is an attorney in the Corporate Practice at Greenberg Traurig, LLP. With a strong focus on corporate and transactional matters, Blanca advises private and public companies, private equity firms, and public companies on a wide range of issues, including domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate governance. Leveraging a background in economics and finance, Blanca provides practical, business-oriented legal advice tailored to the needs of clients across various industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, engineering, financial services, manufacturing, and technology. She has experience handling complex corporate transactions including stock purchases and asset purchases, as well as diverse capital markets transactions. In addition to the foregoing, Blanca has also led intricate diligence reviews where she was tasked with the primary responsibility of drafting reports and overseeing a team comprising over 15 associates. Additionally, Blanca offers advice in numerous U.S. securities laws and corporate governance matters,with the goal of ensuring clients’ compliance with SEC and stock exchange rules while simultaneously assisting with matters germane to their respective board meeting minutes and day-to-day operational issues.

Blanca earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, graduating with a concentration in the Business of Innovation, Law, and Technology. Prior to law school, Blanca earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance & International Business from Florida International University.
