JAMES Magazine’s annual Most Influential Georgians issue presents a roster of Georgia’s major business, political, legal, and media players. Greer and Evans are among a group of prominent individuals in their fields of endeavor in the “Most Influential” edition for March/April 2025. JAMES Magazine and JAMES Magazine Online provide information on various Georgia business, political, and other news, attracting the attention of those who lead in the development of public opinion on major issues across Georgia, according to the publication.
In its feature of the 2025 honorees, JAMES Magazine describes Greer as “key in expanding this international firm’s Atlanta office” while he oversees the entire global expansion including the firm’s recent openings in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, São Paulo, United Arab Emirates, and Munich. Evans is described as “active in politics and especially knowledgeable in Georgia election law and campaign finance matters.” The recognition of Greer and Evans on the list underscores the impact of Greenberg Traurig's leadership in the Georgia community and beyond.
As Greenberg Traurig’s co-president, Greer’s strategic acumen has been instrumental in shaping its growth to more than 2,750 lawyers in 49 locations worldwide, bringing an ethos of collaborative and enthusiastic client service, legal excellence, and a winning mentality. He is instrumental in shaping the firm’s brand as a collaborative law firm providing high-quality legal work and service to clients and across communities. Evans is a first-chair litigator that represents clients in complex, high-stakes cases across practice areas in federal and state courts throughout the United States. He is the youngest person ever elected as chairman of Georgia’s State Ethics Commission, a role which he served in for three years. Among other roles, Evans has served on Georgia’s Advisory Commission to the United States Commission on Civil Rights, the Professionalism Committee of the Georgia Bar, the Atlanta Ballet’s Advisory Council, and the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta’s Young Leaders Council. Evans is a current member of Leadership Atlanta’s 2025 class and the Metro Atlanta Chamber’s ATLeaders.
