SEOUL – Nov. 19, 2024 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP represented BNP Paribas (Suisse) SA as lead manager in a Reg. S offering of CHF120 million 0.8875% “Green Bond” notes due November 2027 by Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) under its US$2 billion Global Medium Term Note Program. The offering signed on November 18 and closed on November 19. The notes were listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
KORAIL was established as a statutory juridical corporation under the Korea Railroad Corporation Act in 2005 and is the national railroad operator, providing passenger and freight railroad transportation services throughout Korea.
The Greenberg Traurig attorneys leading the transaction were Shareholder Eun Sang Hwang and Associate Byoungjoo Lee in the firm’s Seoul office.
