Mian R. Wang Speaks at IBA’s World Women Lawyers’ Conference

BOSTON – Oct. 24, 2024 – Mian R. Wang, a Litigation shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Boston office, will be speaking at the fireside chat, “Taking a Seat at the Table and Speaking Up,” at the International Bar Association’s (IBA) 10th World Women Lawyers’ Conference, Oct. 23-25 in Toronto.

The panel will discuss how heterogeneity can improve the quality of decision-making and ways women lawyers can help each other to be present, show up, and speak up. The IBA’s annual event serves to inspire and drive meaningful change for women in the legal profession.

Wang focuses her practice on corporate malfeasance matters related to mergers and acquisitions, alleged financial fraud stemming from borrower-lender relationships, and lawsuits against corporate bad actors. She represents public and private companies, financial institutions, directors, officers, and individuals before state and federal courts in commercial and bankruptcy litigation. Her practice covers multiple disciplines and industries, including education, health care, event management, startup firms, financial institutions, and commercial finance and asset management firms.
