Greenberg Traurig Advises GARBE on Joint Venture with NREP's Logicenters

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig advised GARBE Industrial Real Estate (GARBE) on the establishment of a joint venture with NREP's Logicenters. The joint venture’s goal is to develop a sustainable logistics portfolio in Germany.

The first project is a greenfield project in Straubing, Bavaria. The joint venture partners plan to build a modern and environmentally friendly logistics property with approximately 27,000 square meters. The warehouse will be built entirely from wood and meet the highest ESG standards. Completion is planned for the third quarter of 2025.

GARBE is owner managed and based in Hamburg. It develops, buys or sells, leases, finances, markets, and manages logistics, industrial, and technology properties in Germany. GARBE currently manages real estate assets of approximately 10 billion euros, comprising around 6.5 million square meters of rental space and a project development pipeline of around 1.9 million square meters in Germany and Europe.

Greenberg Traurig's lawyers advised GARBE on the joint venture agreement with NREP's Logicenters as well as on the conclusion of a development and asset management agreement with the joint venture company.
