Greenberg Traurig’s Ari Newman Named to ABI’s ‘40 Under 40’ List

MIAMI – Oct. 16, 2023 – Ari Newman, a shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice, was named to the American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) 2023 “40 Under 40” list.

The list recognizes 40 professionals under 40 years-old who show leadership, achievement, and ability in bankruptcy and insolvency. ABI will recognize the “40 Under 40” during a luncheon at their annual Winter Leadership Conference Dec. 1 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Newman, based in the firm’s Miami office, has experience handling a variety of complex legal issues that arise in distressed situations, including in connection with Chapter 11 restructurings and liquidations, strategic planning, workouts, distressed transactions, bankruptcy litigation and state law liquidations. He represents companies experiencing distress, and offers counsel to Chapter 11 debtors, official committees in Chapter 11 cases, debtor-in-possession lenders, secured and unsecured creditors, parties to distressed transactions, and parties to bankruptcy litigation.
