ORANGE COUNTY – June 6, 2022 – Susan L. Heller, of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, was recently honored with recognitions in Managing IP Magazine and in the 2022 Chambers USA Guide for her intellectual property (IP) achievements and leadership.
Heller was listed in the 2022 Chambers USA Guide, a publication that selects attorneys for inclusion based on thousands of interviews with practicing lawyers and clients around the world. Heller was recognized in Band 1, the highest placement, for Intellectual Property: Trademark, Copyright & Trade Secrets: Transactional.
Managing IP named Heller among their list of “The Top 250 Women in IP 2022,” which recognizes senior female IP practitioners in private practice from around the world who have achieved exceptional results for their clients and firms in the past year. This year marks the fifth time Heller has been named to the “Top 250 Women in IP” list.
Heller is co-managing shareholder of the firm’s Orange County office, co-chair of the firm's Global Trademark & Brand Management Group, and senior advisor to the firm’s Women’s Initiative. Heller is consistently recognized by numerous publications and organizations as having one of the preeminent and most innovative international trademark practices in the country and for being a game-changer. Euromoney twice named her the winner of its Americas Women in Business Law Awards, “Best in Trademark,” and Best Lawyers in America on two separate occasions named her “Lawyer of the Year” in Trademark Law for Los Angeles. Heller was twice selected as “Trademark Lawyer of the Year” by Finance Monthly Global Awards, is a three-time winner of the “Lawyer of the Year for Intellectual Property” by Lawyer Monthly, and is a “WIPR Leader” by World Intellectual Property Review. She was honored by her alma mater, Cornell University, which named her a Distinguished Classmate. She also serves on the highly regarded President’s Council of Cornell Women.
