40th National Institute on White Collar Crime

The ABA Criminal Justice Section will present its 40th National Institute on White Collar Crime in Miami. The two-day institute will discuss hot button issues of global significance to white collar practitioners, including new trends in FCPA enforcement, new priorities and expectations with securities enforcement, health care fraud, developments and future expectations in antitrust, money laundering, the Criminal Tax Enforcement, and more.
Kara Bombach will serve as a speaker on the panel titled "SKILLS – Sanctions and Export Control Enforcement Agenda: 2024 Update.” Panelists will examine the methods used by the United States to impede the flow of weapons, property and funds to countries and leaders in politics involved in, and businessmen who support such, conflicts, including aggression, as well as to deter and preempt nations and individuals involved in criminal activities. Additional panelists include Roscoe Howard (Barnes & Thornburg, LLP), and John Sonderman (Director, Office of Export Enforcement).
