Greg Schwartz is a patent attorney and chemical engineer who works with a wide range of clients on their most challenging intellectual property issues. A significant portion of his practice focuses on high-stakes patent matters involving competitor activity, especially when those matters have visibility to executive leadership. His experience includes directly advising and presenting strategy to C-suite executives and board members of public and private companies on matters concerning freedom-to-operate, threatened patent litigation, and patent assertion and enforcement.
Another significant portion of Greg’s practice includes advising clients on patent procurement and global patent portfolio strategy. His experience includes building patent portfolios for clients in highly competitive industries and working with technical teams to carve out space in crowded patent landscapes. Greg is known for incorporating broader strategies for offensive and defensive purposes into patent prosecution matters. He understands the importance of pairing prosecution strategy with broader objectives.
Greg works with clients of all sizes, ranging from start-ups and emerging companies to research institutions and large multinational corporations. He also works with clients across a variety of different industries.
