Gerardo Carrillo Valadez focuses his practice on real estate, particularly sales and acquisitions of real estate projects, as well as the development and financing of such projects. He has more than 20 years of experience within the Mexican market, and possesses wide-ranging knowledge of industrial, residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. He also has a deep understanding of mixed-use and multifamily properties. Additionally, Gerardo has participated in multiple engagements across other industries.   • Representation of international and national funds in the investment and development of real estate projects in Mexico, such as Cinuk, Fibra Macquarie, Greystar, ICM Asset Management, Industrial Commercial Properties, Industrial Realty Group, Macquarie Asset Management, Meor, O’Donnell, PGIM Real Estate, Proximity Parks, and Sura Asset Management.
  • Representation of clients in the sale and purchase of assets and stock, including acquisition of real estate and foreign investments in Mexico.
  • Representation of funds in the creation and management of mixed-use condominiums, master plans, and industrial parks.
  • Representation of industrial developers in connection with the acquisition of industrial properties (land and stabilized buildings) in Mexico, including negotiations related to the development, construction, and management of these properties.
  • Representation of major Mexican real estate developers in the execution and negotiation of financing agreements as well as long-term leases and built-to-suits with multinational corporations involving industrial buildings in Mexico.
  • Representation of clients in all aspects of the development, construction, management, and sale, including all financing, local permits, etc. of industrial, hotels and resorts, retail, residential, and mixed-use projects.
  • Representation of clients in several due diligence matters involving banking, mergers, acquisitions, and public securities offerings.
